Engagement photo session: Glady & Chris

I was thrilled to awake to an overcast day for this engagement session.  I am photographing Glady and Chris' Lake Tahoe wedding this Spring; it was a treat to spend time with them in advance.  Having met online, they have a modern-day love story. While I shot entirely in color and am giving them mostly color images, I am presently in a black & white-kind-of-mood. I suppose I like the way it cohesively tied all of these images together.  It was fun to shoot this time of year with the drama of brittle vines and sparse trees.

Holy country cow: these two are among the most in love and lovely couples I have ever photographed! Everything about their love and interaction is so natural and inspiring. I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding!!
